About me
I am a fully qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist working in private practice. Alongside running my private practice I have also worked within the counselling and psychotherapy teams at Space4u, Her Majesty's Prison Service and a Rape Crisis Centre. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy (First Class). I am fully qualified to offer both short and long term therapy.
How I work |
I work as a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, this enables me to draw on more than one approach in order to shape therapy to meet my clients' particular needs. I believe we are each individuals and as such I don't offer a one size fits all approach. Central to my practice is my belief that the relationship between the client and the therapist is key to the success of the therapy. I therefore offer a caring, empathic approach to create an environment that feels safe, accepting and non-judgemental for you to explore your difficulties and make sense of your feelings and actions, knowing that you are no longer alone as you work towards your new goals.
